AirBnB

Hartwell, GA is the home of Lake Hartwell, a man-made reservoir popular for recreation, camping, hunting, and boating. There are many AirBnB offerings in the area, both on and off the lake. You can find options that are quite reasonable which are not too far from the church and reception venue.

If you are looking for an AirBnB, it is highly recommended to get one on the Georgia side, because otherwise you will have to drive all the way around the lake, which can be a rather lengthy drive.

Hartwell Cabins & RVs

While I (Jacob) was looking at Google Maps, I found this place that looks really neat! You can rent a cabin (for a minumum of 2 nights) which has a kitchenette. This might be a nice option if you have multiple people in your group and would like a unique place to stay that is not a hotel.

Travel

If you are coming from a sufficiently large distance, we recommend flying into the Greenville–Spartanburg International Airport near Greer, SC. The airport is just over an hour from Hartwell, GA, much closer than Atlanta, in addition to being a much more pleasant experience than going through security at ATL.
